Our guides and bespoke itineraries

Cognoscenti Guides takes great care to ensure that all of our client’s wishes are anticipated such that they enjoy a guided service that provides exactly what they want. All we need from a client is the “client brief” as to what they wish to see, when, how much time they have and the size of the party and any special needs or specific interests. If the client has no “brief”, we will create one for them.

Importantly, all of our guides are:

• educated to university standard and are fluent in the language of the client. We offer both English and French speaking guides. This ensures that clients receive information to the standard they demand, both grammatically and technically correct, in a format they may readily comprehend;
• fully accredited to the Guild of Registered Tourist Guides and the Association of Professional Tourist Guides.
• courteous, punctual, smartly dressed and professional.

Many of our overseas clients tend to be time constrained and therefore wish to ensure they extract maximum benefit from the time they have on any guided excursion. It will be our pleasure to offer a bespoke guided itinerary to London ‘à la carte’ sites” or “out of London ‘à la carte sites”, or a combination of the two, depending on the time given.

We also take into consideration other factors such as transport options and/ or any particular special needs within their client group. This is particularly important if organising an itinerary for client groups that have young children or elderly people where there may be widely differing needs and interests to be met.

In short, Cognoscenti Guides provides clients with tailor-made itineraries to meet their exacting needs. That is our sole focus.
